Morgan received his B.A in Physics from Hastings College and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. Morgan has worked in varied energy applications including exhaust after-treatment for natural gas pipeline engines, advanced ignition systems for distributed energy resource applications, bio-fuels and bio-energy research, and energy for sustainable development. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association and on Technical Advisory Boards for EnviroFit International, a non-profit start-up company dedicated to developing and disseminating clean engine technology in Asia and InteGrid Test and Development Laboratory, a lab co-founded by CSU and Spirae Inc., a Colorado based company specializing in infrastructure for distributed and renewable energy.
